The objective of the project
- To power and light Kalya village using a Solar Minigrid
Impact of the Project on the Kalya Community
- A total of 283 houses in Kalya have been connected to the power generated from the Minigrid,
- Transformation of 283 houses from using kerosene lamps to solar light bulbs,
- Transformation of communication for 283 households can charge their mobile phone and easy communication process and other electronic transfers,
- Transformation of students learning environment by using solar light bulb there is the assurance of more study time in evening hours,
- Transformation of religious houses that are connected to power gives Kalya Community access to services even in the night religious sessions,
- Establishments of local businesses in Kalya village such as Barbershops, hairdressing saloons, Mobile charging points, welding and metal works and a Mini garage.
